Traditional Auction Formats
- English Auction: bids are always ascending and the highest bidder wins the item.
- Reverse Auction: price starts out high and then drops in price until someone places that first bid and that will be the sale price of the item.
- Silent Auction: bidders place the bids by writing down the amount they are willing to pay on a sheet of paper where everyone can see what the other bidders are willing to pay.
- Sealed Bid Auction: bidders place bids that are unknown to other bidders participating in the auction. Highest bid wins.
Bid Blab Auction Format
- BidBlab Auction: Bid Blab has combined the English Auction, Reverse Auction, Silent Auction, Sealed Bid Auction, and added a unique twist of our own. Doing this provides Bid Blab members with a fun, exciting, safe, and fair environment to win auctions online.
How much Does it cost?
- There is no money charged to bid on any Bid Blab auction. There is no money charged to register to become a Bid Blab Member. The only money you will ever spend on BidBlab.com is the actual winning bid amount if you are the winning bidder.
How does a Bid Blab auction work?
- BidBlab.com places a brand new item online for auction.
- At the beginning of every auction placed on BidBlab.com the ending date of the auction and the "BidBlab Price" will be displayed next to the item. The BidBlab Price is the maximum amount that a bidder can bid for that auction.
- An example of a BidBlab Price would be $25.77 for a gaming console with a retail value of $299.99
- When bidding starts you can only bid the BidBlab Price or lower. So in this example your bid would be equal to $25.77 or less.
- When the auction ends the user that has the highest unique bid will win that auction item for that low price and receive free shipping.
- Each time a Bid Blab Member places a bid they have to use BidBlab Credits.
- BidBlab Credits cannot be bought with money.
- BidBlab Credits can only be earned.
- When a person registers on BidBlab.com they will automatically receive 5 BidBlab Credits.
- When you use those credits and want more you will need to visit the Earn Credits section of BidBlab.com
- Earning Credits is a very easy process and there are currently 3 methods available to Bid Blab Members to earn BidBlab Credits.
- The first method to earn BidBlab Credis is to answer community questions for the Community Q&A section of Bid Blab. The length of the answer only has to be 107 characters long which is only 2 to 3 sentences so most members tend to write a little more. Keep in mind that all answers have to be your personal opinion and not copied from any other source and not just a bunch of verbal garbage.
- The second method to earn BidBlab Credits is by referring friends and family to Bid Blab.
- The third method to earn BidBlab Credits is to submit questions for the Bid Blab Community to answer.
